Smooth curves, stainless steel covers and modest monoblock design provide the Nokia 6303i classic with cool looks and a quality feel. Apart from its smoothly rounded edges there are no particular aesthetic features that set it apart, it is a classic midrange phone aimed at the midrange market. Nokia have developed an easy to understand menu system that incorporates today’s most popular applications and features.

The battery life is excellent with more than 500 hours standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time. Messaging options include the usual SMS, MMS, AMS, email and instant messaging all of which can be viewed easily on the 2.2 inch TFT display. Superb engineering skills have kept the design compact and light (96g) ensuring the handset can be kept almost unnoticed in a pocket or bag.

To minimise the cost there’s no 3G or Wi-Fi with this model; however it does come with Bluetooth and the Nokia maps application is pre-installed. Internal memory of 55MB can be increased up to 8GB with a microSD card. The 3.2 megapixel camera if fairly good with a dual LED flash and video record at 8 frames per second. Further notable features include eight games, video ringtones, a music player, 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo FM radio that can provide up to 30 hours of listening from one battery charge.
